On both songs Winky D exalted himself with a flawless delivery singing on key much to the delight of fans. The Disappear singer also appealed to a crossover audience riding on his collaboration with Messias who performed in Portuguese. Winky D aka Gafa would switch from English to Shona and it was beautiful to see Messias also singing in Shona. The one thing Winky D must have learnt from the whole should how to let music flow without the oft-used one drops in dancehall music. DANCEHALL musician, Nutty O, who is a member of the Military Touch Movement (MTM), moved a step higher when he joined forces with popular Zimdancehall chanter Soul Jah Love on the justreleased song titled “Zuva”. The Buggati hit maker believes that undertaking collaborations will assist him to gain much impetus in the music industry. Produced by Dj Tamuka, the song will be another opportunity for the musician to sustain his fame in the music circles. In an interview with H-Metro, Nutty O said: “After earning prominence with one of my songs “Do It alone” as well as collaborating with other musicians on the track “Chekeche” , I have found it noble to do a track with Soul Jah Love.
“His popularity in the music scene inspires me a lot and on this track it has been part of my plans since 2016. “Besides being on our plans, Jah Prayzah among other artistes directed me to do join forces with Chibaba. “I have worked with him on a number of live shows at local and international level before; hence, this track will strengthen our relationship as musicians. “The song “Zuva” describes my strengths in the music milieu and how my future is lightening up through the influence of other musicians.” He added: “With Soul Jah Love, we are expecting to be performing together in UK this coming July. “At the same time, I wish to change the way people recognize dancehall music in Zimbabwe by combining English language with Shona lyrics,” he said. Nutty O has been shining with his two singles “Let’s Talk about It” and Bugatti enjoying fair rotation on Trace Africa, a channel which mainly focuses on African music.
